CUMC 2024 Women’s Retreat

The Community Church Women’s retreat is returning this year to Antiochian Village near Ligonier PA on April 19 and 20.  Friday night will be filled with fellowship, laughter, a devotion by our speaker, Mollie Eisenhuth, games and fun!  This will be a time to unwind, get to know others from our church (although others are welcome to attend as well!) and prepare ourselves for a day of learning what the Lord has in store for us.  Saturday will include meals together, sessions and group time with Mollie, and a mission focused project.

Our speaker, Mollie Eisenhuth, is newly married to Kyle who grew up in our church with his family, and has recently been ordained a pastor himself.  Mollie is going to school for a degree in divinity.  She has a great story to tell and is writing a book about Joy.  As we were considering who to have as a speaker, we found Mollie fit so well with what our vision was for the retreat and felt God led us to her.

Antiochian Village, antiochianvillage.org, in Bolivar, PA offers comfortable rooms with individual beds, all bedding and towels, delicious dining and a tranquil mountain setting.  There are 3 retreat options available.

–  Stay Friday night in a triple bed room for $125

–  Stay Friday night in a double bed room for $150

–  Attend Saturday only for $75

Saturday includes 3 meals – a continental breakfast, a simple lunch and a wonderful dinner to round out our day, ending around 6pm.  The overnight option will also include a hearty Friday night snack that can easily be your meal if needed and begins about 6pm.  For those who are spending the night, there will be an opportunity to mark roommates in the EVENT registration form. If you do not know who to room with, we will find great roommates for you to get to know!
